Undercover Investigation Leads to Arrest

 

Terrell, Texas – An undercover investigation by Kaufman County narcotics investigators and Mabank Police Department yielded the arrest of Travis Wade Morgan, age 29 of Terrell.

Travis Wade Morgan was arrested on February 20, 2010, and charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG1> 4G<200G. The arrest took place in the parking lot of Rip Griffins Truck Stop located in Terrell. A Kaufman County K-9 unit was called to the scene, and an open air search was done around the vehicle. The K-9 alerted investigators to suspected drugs in the vehicle. After searching the vehicle, investigators found 42.7 grams of a crystal like substance that was believed to be methamphetamine, and $4035.00 in cash.

Mr. Morgan was taken into custody and transported to the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center, where bond was set at $5000.00.
