Terrell Texas- On June 5, 1989 just after moving into his neighborhood, Mr. Bruce Garner came home to find his residence had been burglarized.
Among the items stolen in the burglary were an H & R nine shot revolver, and a leather belt and holster set. Mr. Garner stated, “I was only gone for a period of several hours, and when I returned my home was broken into”. Although the suspects in the burglary were never apprehended, Kaufman County Deputies were able to locate the pawned gun after twenty one years.
Mr. Garner was contacted and a property hearing was held this morning to return the gun to Mr. Garner.
