Kaufman, Texas – A tip led to the recovery of three trailers, one of which belonged to Boy Scout Troop 778, from Richardson Texas. Their trailer was stolen out of the parking lot of the First United Methodist Church in Richardson, from the parking lot during the month of March. Kaufman County investigators also recovered a trailer shown to be stolen out of Ellis County and one stolen out of Terrell. The value of the recovered property is estimated to be over $8,000.00.
Arrested and charged with theft of stolen property> =$1,500 < $20,000 was William Torres, age 41, of Dallas. Mr. Torres was transported to the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center, where bond was set at $75,000.
