Terrell, Texas – Two more are in jail today as the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office continues its ongoing fight against possession, manufacturing, and selling of illegal drugs in the county. An undercover investigation by Kaufman County narcotics investigators and the Kaufman County multijurisdictional SWAT Team yielded the arrest of Bryan Keith Wilkinson, 32, of Arlington and Demarco Raynard Jackson, 29, also of Arlington.
Both suspects were arrested on June 15, 2011, and charged with Delivery of Marijuana Over 5 lbs. < 50 lbs. The arrest took place in the parking lot of a local retail establishment located in Terrell. A Kaufman County K-9 unit was called to the scene, and an open air search was done around the vehicle. The K-9 alerted investigators to suspected drugs in the vehicle. After searching the vehicle, investigators found 30 pounds of marijuana.
Wilkinson and Jackson both were taken into custody and transported to the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center, where they remain with bond set at $50,000 for each.
