Terrell Texas – On Saturday, January 1, 2011, at 5:30 a.m., Kaufman County deputies responded to a call from the Terrell police Department in response to a Family Violence call.
The assault occurred at a residence located in the 13000 block of County Road 236. The victim had experienced car trouble at the residence, and asked the suspect Rodolfo Camacho for help in getting her vehicle out of the mud. Camacho became angry, and began physically assaulting her, threatening to kill her and shot his gun into the ground several times. He then forced her into his residence, where the abuse continued for some time. The victim was able to get out of the residence, only to be forced back into the residence, where the abuse continued. After some of Camacho’s family members arrived, the victim was able to get outside the residence, where she fled and went to the Terrell Police Department for help.
Rodolfo Camacho, 25, of Terrell was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon, Family Violence, and Aggravated Kidnapping. Camacho was taken to the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center, where he remains with bond set at $800,000.00.
