Terrell Texas, - On July 28, 2012 at approximately 10:54 a.m., Kaufman County deputies executed a traffic stop on a black Ford truck on County Road 2728 for traffic violations.
As the deputy approached the vehicle he identified the driver as Lee Jarrett Dodson, 28, of Terrell. The deputy asked for permission to search the vehicle at which time Dodson agreed. During the search of Dodsonís vehicle, the deputy located a clear plastic baggie that contained methamphetamines and a glass smoking pipe commonly used in smoking methamphetamines located between the console and the passenger side of the front seat of the truck.
Dodson was arrested and charged with Possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 = under 1 Gram.
Dodson was transported to the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center where he was released on a $6,000.00 bond.
