Crandall Texas, - An undercover operation led by Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics investigators and a K-9 Unit was finalized on April 30, 2012. Two suspects were arrested on multiple drug related charges on April 23, 2012. Arrested and charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a controlled substance in Penalty Group One over 4 Grams, but under 200 Grams, Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz. and Possession of a Dangerous Drug were Jamie Renea Oliver, 31, of Dallas. Oliver also was wanted on four outstanding warrants from Balch Spring Police Department. Also arrested and charged with Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 over 4 Grams but Under 200 Grams, Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz, and Possession of a Dangerous Drug was Paul Michael Ray, 28, of Dallas. Ray also had two outstanding warrants from Kemp Police Department, as well as outstanding warrants from Denton Police Department, and Dallas County.
A search of the vehicle yielded what was believed to be as estimated 30 Grams of methamphetamines, valued at $3,000.00, a baggie containing marijuana, and multiple unidentified pills, a set of digital scales, commonly used to weigh narcotics for sale, as well as narcotics packaging material. Oliver’s bond is set at $103,819.00 and Ray is being held without bond. Both remain in the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center at this time.
